There's No Place Like Home

During the spring term the children will explore more about the country they live in. Starting by looking at the United Kingdom, the countries that make this up, the capital cities and the surrounding seas. 

We will then focus on their local town, Ringwood and what makes the town unique. 

The children will learn about human and physical features, reading OS maps, symbols and look into why people settle in villages, towns and cities. 

There will be a field trip where the year group will walk into Ringwood to study the economic activity and land use.

A Kingdom United

During the summer term we will discover all about the UK. We will explore the different national parks of the United Kingdom and their properties. We will then discover more about The New Forest National Park.
