New Forest Grant approved!
Tue 14 May 2024Last week we were delighted to hear that our Grant application had been successful for the replacement of our bike shed and scooter store.
The current store does not allow bikes to be stored safely and there is very little room for the number of potential bikes and scooters that we could have.
The grant is for a total of £3,000 and this will ensure that we can make the storage much more accessible and we hope it will encourage many more pupils to use it.

Zooming through the gloom!
Thu 30 Apr 2020We are officially Zooming!!!
We have had lift off this week with our latest attempts to keep in touch with our fabulous children and their families. We have had approximately 220 replies to take up our offer of group zooms with their class teachers and I have to say the teachers have loved it!
They have really enjoyed meeting pets, finding out who has had COVID 19 lockdown haircuts and of course to just see smiley faces and check in that the children are up to speed with work and can ask any questions. These will continue throughout the weeks of Lockdown and we are absolutely there to answer learning or structure questions and of course to keep the children motivated in their home studies!

Coronavirus Update 21.3.20 PLEASE READ
Sat 21 Mar 2020THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT PLEASE CONSIDER!
Parents/carers
We need your help, as a school the percentage of the children who have registered interest for your children to attend school next week is higher than anticipated. We recognise that parents have viewed the Keyworkers list and therefore this facility is an option to you. But the truth of this is that we urge you not to use us unless you absolutely need to. Please just send your child on the days that you have to work. Please do not use us just because it will make working from home easier for you. The more children we have attend, then the more at risk both they and staff are. We have over the weekend split the staff into two teams to reduce exposure and range of contamination. We can do great things with the children once we come through these next few challenging months.
Keep safe and thank you for your support.
Jo Walker
If you can review your plans and keep them at home then please just call us on Monday- we really won't mind!

Our thanks to St John's Ambulance as well as our local Police and Fire Service for also attending the event. The fireworks were simply fantastic and it was great community evening for all. The mud added to the fun!
