Esafety
At Poulner Junior School we take esafety very seriously. Our internet access is shielded by Hampshire Firewall. We have a code of conduct that the children sign up to (see attached elearning policy). Children never use the internet unsupervised. They are all made familiar with courtesy and warning signs on the internet. Each term your child will experience esafety lessons designed to keep them safe online.
At home, a few simple guidelines will help:
- Have the computer in an area where you can monitor what is going on.
- Use a parental filter (often provided by your ISP).
- Only allow your child on age appropriate sites.
- Be cautious of chat rooms and forums.
