Last half term we enjoyed the last of the sun and the children loved playing on the field and got competitive during a game of rounders! We embraced Halloween and decorated one of our boards with lots of spooky pictures (photos to come!). The children loved using all sorts of materials to create their projects, but especially loved the pastels as they could colour their hands in - our bathrooms were very multi-coloured at the end!
We had a great time biscuit decorating and making scary chocolate rice-crispie cakes, although the scariest thing for me was the sheer amount of icing they all used!
We discovered Bingo and everyone had fun trying to persuade Paige and I that if they had the number next to the one called, then that counted too! I can't be sure, but I think a small amount of cheating may have occurred during those games...
Next half term we will be doing art projects to celebrate Diwali and Bonfire Night and then Christmas! I managed to hold this off until at least November!
