We hope you managed to relax a little over the Easter holidays! 

 

We are now officially in the Summer term and our new topic is World War 2, check out the topic page for more information or google classroom. There is new maths and English home learning for you to complete and some exciting topic activities to do so dive in!

Good morning year 5

Take a look at this funny short clip. (see link below)

The task

Write a narrative  from the point of view of the camel, you can make this as funny as you like..but!

You should include:

co-ordinating conjunctions

inverted commas for direct speech

pronouns (to avoid repitition) 

different sentence starters

This activity is suitable for everyone in Y5 - if you think the success criteria is too much then select 2 from the list to include.

 

Take a look at the short example piece  to help you get started. 

We know we don't need to remind you but please remember to use capital letters and full stops!
