PSHE
To promote positive behaviour, mental health, wellbeing, resilience and achievement at Poulner Junior School…
Children will explore and reflect upon then challenges of creating a happy and successful adult life. They need knowledge that will enable them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and relationships and to build their self-efficacy. Children can also put this knowledge into practice as they develop the capacity to make sound decisions when facing risks, challenges and complex contexts. Discussions will support young people to develop resilience, to know how and when to ask for help, and to know where to access support. Children will learn in an environment where they will reach their academic potential and thrive as happy, resilient, confident members of the community. As they move towards adulthood, they will grow into valued and supportive global citizens.
