British Values Week 11-15th February 2019
Fri 22 Feb 2019We wanted to help the children to really understand what was meant by British Values. The Values are Respect and Tolerance, Individual Liberty, Democracy and Rule of Law. Each year group focused on one Value and explored what it meant to them and to society, they studied someone who was significant in bringing about this Value in British History and then started creating their own thinking as to which Values they would have should they ever be ruler of their own land! Thanks to Mrs Charter for organising such an interesting week! -
Careers afternoon for Years 5 & 6
Fri 22 Feb 2019As part of the children's PSHE learning we held a careers afternoon for them. Their unit was looking at Hopes and Dreams for their futures and it is very difficult sometimes to have a goal or ambition if you are unaware as to some of the possibilities of careers that are available to them. We would like to thank our parent volunteers for giving up their time to share thier careers with the children. The feedback from the children was incredibly positive and has certainly given them targets and goals to work towards for possible future careers! -
